Date: 2022-12-31 09:07 pm (UTC)I have never heard of "The English" before but I do have prime and I did a fast look. The scenery and costumes are gorgeous! I only watched for a bit but the storyline seems a little bit depressing. I know it is a part of our history but the display of prejudice and racism would greatly upset me.
That being said, I did manage to get some screencaps and make 2 icons. Please don't feel obligated to use them.

Date: 2022-12-31 09:26 pm (UTC)The show is a bit depressing, but it's gorgeous nonetheless. A person who enjoyed the bittersweet Buffy\Angel storyline, where then can NOT be together, would greatly enjoy this.
I'll take the first pic if I may. I'll have to get rid of something but I don't care. I'm just crazy about that show. THANKS.
